NASSAU. Musicians, merchants and vagrants from the past have gathered in the beautifully landscaped beer garden of the hotel and restaurant "Zur Krone" in Nassau, to celebrate together with the guests at the occasion of a historic market.

Since 1912 on the last weekend of September, the Michelsmarkt takes place in Nassau. Visitors are offered a wide ranging entertainment program of music and dance, even culinary specialties. At the beginning of the festivity, a fair tree is set and on the last day (on Monday) the Michelsmarkt ends with a "Frühschoppen" and a brilliant firework.
